[President (ISACA New Delhi Chapter)]

Dear Members,

 

I am very pleased to write you this letter informing you of some important activities at ISACA New Delhi Chapter. Since February 2007 the existing board has been working hard to identify opportunities to improve our services and benefits to the members. To achieve all these we have been regularly organizing evening talks and seminars. I convey my sincere thanks to the board members who have been making sincere and dedicated efforts to make these possible.

 

Some of the very recent achievements are as under:-

 

  1.. WEBSITE The major hurdle of updating and revamping our website has been overcome. We are very pleased to inform you that our newly revamped website has been launched in November 2007. It has been given a new look and has been made quite interactive.
 

This has been made possible due to hard work and dedication of our newly appointed Webmaster Mr. Puneet Mehta. I convey personal thanks to Mr. Puneet Mehta, for his sincere and dedicated efforts in giving this wonderful gift to the chapter.

 

  2.. CONFERENCE- Another important information that I wanted to share with all of you is that during a meeting of all chapter presidents in August 2008, it was decided to organize annual conference where in all Indian Chapters would participate. This conference named as CISAC- (Conference of Information Security Audit & Control) is to be hosted by each chapter every year. In our efforts to provide further benefits to our members we have availed this opportunity to host the first such conference, i.e. CISAC-2008. 
 

ISACA New Delhi chapter is, therefore, hosting the first two days Conference of Information Security ,Audit & control- CISAC-2008, on 15th & 16th of February 2008. 

 

The theme of the conference is ‘ERM & IT GOVERNANCE’

 

Venue -       Hotel Shangri La, Ashok Road, New Delhi.

 

Participation Fees:

 

Members of ISACA: -                Rs.5000/- 

Non members-                           Rs.6000/-

 

The discounts are as under:-

 

  1.. Early bird discount of Rs.500/- per delegate for registration upto 15th of December 2007. 
  2.. Further discount of 5 % on a delegation of 10 persons and above 
  3.. Discount of 10% on a delegation of 20 persons and above
